The Rakotzbrücke Bridge perfectly captures the unique atmosphere of Saxony. This arch bridge is located in the small Kromlau, in the district of Görlitz, near the Polish-German border. It was built of basalt stones brought from quarries in Saxon Switzerland, among others. Although the bridge is small, its construction could have taken up to ten years.

The structure looks great in photos, because the structure and the reflection in the water surface create a perfect circle. The best photos can be taken in spring or autumn. You can’t get this effect in winter, because the lake freezes over and there may be a lack of water in the summer.

A nature-themed wallpaper by Adam Brzoza is a perfect way to freshen up your interior.
